“Out in the Costa Rican jungle, when we could travel freely, I recorded the sounds of the Montezuma bird not knowing when or where I would use it but I knew there was a sound that would make sense for the right track.
This came together on the other side of the world, whist isolating on the Isle Of Arran in Scotland. I wanted to make something that echoed my personal circumstances at that time. The isolation, nature and my love of a good synth came together for the lead track and subsequent EP.
