About the Festival

After the success of last year’s first edition we are delighted to announce that our Pikes Ibiza Literary Festival will return this year for a 3 day celebration of great literature, music, film and food on the 10-12 September 2019.

Taking place right across our fairy tale grounds, from our neon pink tennis court to the Plaza Mayor, prepare to immerse yourself in author discussion panels, interviews, creative writing & publishing workshops, poetry readings and exclusive film screenings.

Day 1 | Classes & Talks

“How to be a writer” with Linda Quinn

A special 2 day workshop hosted by Linda Quinn, professional writer and City Lit creative writing teacher will be guiding you through the process of ‘How to be a writer’. She’ll be asking all the big questions, dropping some major hints and sharing some serious techniques that should help you dig deep to find that story inside you.

Spaces are limited so if you’d would like to take part you’ll need tickets to both day 1 and day 2 and to choose whether you would like to register for Group 1 or 2. You’ll receive a registration email after purchasing your tickets.

One of the often asked questions for writers is around finding the way to have your work seen and enjoyed by a wide audience. Now is your chance to learn those publishing tips and tricks two people who have done it West London journalist Matt Trollope and author Jaqi Loye-Brown.

We all know Tony Pike was a character who certainly had a lot of Ibiza tales to tell, but who doesn’t want to hear the tales behind those tales? We’re excited his partner in storytelling crime and friend of Pikes, Matt Trollope, the ghost writer of Tony Pikes’ biography Mr Pikes, and The Life and Lines of Brandon Block will be discussing these works and more.
