'A Taste of Pikes'

A Menu by our Head Chef, Lee Milne

We’re jetting our talented kitchen team across the pond to represent Pikes at our first ever pop-up supper club. The evening will start with a welcome cocktail courtesy of our good friends BULLDOG Gin as Pikes favourites, Baybjane & Ruby Murry host. Then, experience a 5 course taster menu curated by Pikes Ibiza Head Chef, Lee Milne, which draws on popular dishes from previous years as well as this season’s menu.

5 course taster menu including a signature Pikes x BULLDOG Gin cocktail, £70 per person.

Evening starts from 19:30

Room 39 On Tour

Look who’s popping up in London!

Ever a pioneer, creative director Dawn Hindle suggested the idea of a kitchen swap to Blacks Club owner, television chef and author Luke Thomas when she visited the restaurant earlier this year. Luke Thomas took over Room 39 at Pikes back in September as part of our Literary Festival and now it's the turn of Lee Milne to takeover the kitchen of Blacks Club in Soho, London.

The History of Blacks Club

Soho, London

Hidden behind the famous Black Door on London's Dean Street “The Club” was first formed in 1764 when Samuel Johnson, David Garrick and Joshua Reynolds formed a supper club where they would meet and discuss the issues of the day with fine food and wine. Nearly 200 years later, it was named Blacks Club as the antithesis to White’s Club, London’s oldest gentlemen’s club, it is said that many Blacks Club members had been black-balled from White’s or considered black sheep. Blacks Club over the next 20 years would become a famously ‘louche’ bohemian drinking den where you find great food, perfectly executed cocktails and most importantly, a peaceful and laid-back space.
