Pikes Literary Festival | Day 1
For the very first time Pikes Ibiza is hosting a unique two day Literary Festival (11-12 September). Headlined by world-renowned, critically acclaimed names from the film and publishing world, and centred around sumptuous evening suppers, author readings and conversation, this spoken-word festival is set to be one of Europe’s most sought-after (and below- the-radar) cultural events of the year.
Award-winning author Irvine Welsh (Trainspotting), screen-writer and author John Niven (Kill Your Friends) and Stephen Armstrong (The White Island) will lead the event in our sprawling grounds. Other high profile names participating include accomplished authors Matt Trollope (Mr.Pikes: The Story Behind the Ibiza Legend) and Neil Forsyth (San Carlos).

Over the two days of the Pikes Literary festival explore your own voice and stories you want to tell. We all have stories to tell, but where do we start? You’ve probably got many in your head, or even stuffed in the bottom drawer. Whilst looking at how to use story structure and other writing techniques to bring your story to the page and engage the reader, we will also workshop pieces with the group and selecting work to be read with the festival speakers on the final evening.
