joined by Judy Jackson
We’re joined by vocalist, trumpeter and visual artist, Ms Maurice for our final night with Ronnie Scott’s. Using a mish-mash of influences alongside 70s-inspired grooves and a splash of West African sonic seasoning, her style is heavily influenced by her London upbringing. Visual art comes very much hand in hand as part of Ms Maurice’s musical performance, so expect questions on the notion of blackness and hyper-sexualisation of the body.

About Ronnie Scotts Jazz Club
Ronnie Scott’s opened in London 60 years ago and has hosted some of the world’s greatest performers including Chaka Khan, Prince, Van Morrison and George Benson.
As one of the major names in the World of Jazz, Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club is even more recognisable to the public than many of the major star performers in jazz today. It’s an honour and a privilege for us to present Ronnie Scott’s at Pikes for the third summer running.
