Why should I come to a retreat? caret-down

The Rockovery retreat is a beautifully orchestrated balance of healing and growth, you are gifting yourself the opportunity to look deeply at the relationship, responsibility and connection to your body, intellect, and spiritual self.

Break away from your negative patterns, learn how to use and shape your body the way you want it, find out who you really are and let your light shine at its brightest. A retreat at Pikes is about taking back the power and responsibility of your true self, hitting the Re-set button and beginning a new positive chapter in your life, fresh, equipped, and supported. So the question really is, why not?

Pikes is about openness, fun, curiosity and discovery, and Rockovery is its training ground! If you are curious about your own untapped potential, if you want to shed some old bad habits, and start being the best you possible, this is the place.

What age groups do you cater for? caret-down

We cater for all age & genders.

Do I need to be really fit to take part? caret-down

Absolutely not, all our classes from boxing to breathing, caters for all fitness levels and abilities, even absolute beginners.

What can I expect from a typical day? caret-down

After waking from a blissful sleep, you will begin each day with gentle and inspiring guided meditation in our magical Rockovery dome, before nourishing your body with the first of three delicious and nutritious dining experiences in our prestigious Room 39 restaurant.

We do our most physically and mentally challenging work early in the day when our energy stores are full, so after your brekkie is settled, be prepared to work up a sweat in that beautiful Mediterranean sunshine! In the afternoon you will have the opportunity to workshop on some potent subjects like fasting/nutrition with the Pikes Professor Dr James Brown our resident scientist. There will also be plenty of time to chill out by the pool, have a swim, indulge in a massage, or even jump on the decks and take your first DJ lesson!

And of course, it wouldn’t be Pikes if there wasn’t some secret surprises on the agenda, to bring that important inner child out to play!

We end the day very much like we started it, with peace giving meditation, with added yoga and sound healing, before unwinding in your own unique room, with our Rockovery journal to note down any thoughts, intentions and wishes you may have.

What is the food like? caret-down

The food is exceptional. Our amazing and warding winning Head chef Lee Milne has worked with top nutritionists to provide you with an incredibly delicious and inspiring dining experience. We have designed your menu to be micro-nutrient and antioxidant dense, using locally sourced organic superfoods to nourish your body and replenish your natural energy stores. Chef Milne is masterful at his art, pulling all the nutrients together to create a wholesome, tasty Mediterranean menu. You may even get a cookery lesson from the man himself!

Will there be vegetarian options? What if I have special Dietary needs? caret-down

All our menus are geared towards a mostly vegetarian experience. The Ibizan countryside is abundant in fresh, and varied seasonal organic vegetables, and our island surrounded by incredibly fresh seafood. We offer what the island offers, and beyond! Balanced and prepared for health and pleasure. If you have special dietary needs, please let us know when you register so that we can factor those into the menus.

Is it strictly no alcohol then? caret-down

Rockovery Retreat is very much your experience, and you are free to experience it as you like, with or without a sneaky poolside cocktail if you feel you’ve earned it!

Will I have my own bedroom and bathroom? caret-down

Yes. The cost of Rockovery is based on single occupancy (unless noted) and each bedroom has its own private bathroom. If you are interested in attending Rockovery with a buddy and want to share a room, please let us know. Each bedroom is wonderfully unique, as are their bathrooms. Some have a shower, while others have a bathtub, and some have both. If you have a preference, we will do our best to pair you with the room that best suits your needs. However, please note that it is based on a first booked/paid basis. But do not worry, every room has a story to tell!

What will the group be like? Will I be lost in a big crowd or will I be able to make some connections? caret-down

Rockovery retreat currently accommodates up to 16 people selected carefully to make sure the retreat is right for everyone, and the other guests. You will have plenty of opportunity for 1-1 time with our professionals, and time to interact personally and make friends with other guests. With the Pikes brand you know to expect like-minded individuals!

Are the trainers/professionals fully qualified? caret-down

Do I get time to go sightseeing? Is there downtime to chill and relax? caret-down

There will be plenty of personal time to chill, take in some sun, read a book, whatever you feel like! Plus, we are including the Thursday night as a free night on us, so plenty of time to see a bit more of the wonderful island.

I have an injury, will I still be able to attend? caret-down

We encourage you to listen to your body. In some cases we are able to tailor programmes to account for minor injuries but we do insist you fill out a personal medical form prior to arrival so we are aware, and please consult your doctor ahead of booking if you are unsure.

Is there ongoing support offered beyond the retreat to help me maintain my results? caret-down

Yes, you will take home your own personalised strategy pack, and be part of our post Rockovery fitness community with useful content and live Q&As with our team.

What do I need to bring with me clothing/equipment wise? caret-down

  1. Clothing – we recommend wearing light comfortable clothing throughout your stay with us, you want to be able to move freely. Breathable attire for workouts that you can work up a sweat in. Plenty of t-shirt, shorts, sports leggings, cap/sunhat and of course… underwear! Casual clothing is fine for dining in the restaurant. Please pack for warm weather but also remember it’s only April – evenings will most likely be chilly so pack a few warmer layers. We recommend bringing waterproofs just in case… we’re on an island after all!
  2. Toiletries – Don’t forget your toothbrush, toothpaste, skincare, personal items and of course, sunscreen! Each room does have travel sized shampoo, conditioner, body wash and body lotion.
  3. Medications – Please remember to bring any medications you may need. If you have asthma, we require you to bring your inhaler at all times.
  4. Shoes – Comfortable trainers for outdoor workouts and on the beach. Walking boots would be beneficial for the morning hike however, sturdy and comfortable trainers with good ankle support will be fine.
  5. Sunglasses – Eyewear for UV protection from the sun.
  6. Watch/Alarm – Make sure you don’t miss out on any of our workouts or classes. Set an alarm each morning with your watch, phone, alarm clock… Whatever works best for you!
  7. Easy Carry Bag – It’s a great idea to have a light carry bag, rucksack, tote etc. to carry essentials (water, snacks etc.) around with you on a daily basis. Make sure it’s suitable for taking to the beach and on our hike too.

Will all sessions run if the weather is not great? caret-down

Yes, we have locations to host any outdoor sessions inside.

I know Pikes usually hosts parties that run until early morning, will these be taking place during the Rockovery? caret-down

No, there are no evening events/parties planned for the dates of the Rockovery!
