The first couple of months of the year are traditionally considered downtime in Ibiza. Most islanders either batten down the hatches and go into hibernation or pack their bags and head out into the world in search of adventure, both reconvening in Ibiza when spring is on the horizon. This winter seems to have been a little different however, with many of the Pikes fam returning home to roost much earlier than usual – convenient, as we got straight down to work! The clock had barely struck 12 on New Year’s Day as we announced the Pikes Opening Weekend (April 11 to 13, 2025 in case you missed it) and then next thing you know, we were deep in planning mode for the rest of the season.

Now, as we wrap up the third month of the year, we’ve already got a whole load of announcements under our belt, including three of our signature soirées and one very special returning resident DJ. First off the bat: Pikes House Party, our in-house Saturday night extravaganza, the night where anything could happen and quite frequently does! From April 12 all the way through to October 25 (that’s 29 whopping weeks!), we’ll be inviting you to join us in shimmying beneath the Freddies discoball to a soundtrack of house, disco, Balearic, eclectic and feel-good sounds curated by our very special guest DJs including Bushwacka!, CC:DISCO!, Cinthie, Crazy P, George Fitzgerald, Heidi Lawden, Horse Meat Disco, Leon Vynehall, Paula Tape, PBR Streetgang, TSHA and many more.
We kick off proceedings with the one and only Pikes House Band in The Pikes Restaurant – the band serenades diners with their twist on the dinner-and-a-show concept. Before you’ve even tucked into your postres, you’ll be up and dancing on the Sunset Terrace, warming up for the main event. Meanwhile, next door in Plaza Mayor, there’s a sense of anticipation in the air as partygoers begin to arrive, schmoozing and sinking shots in the open air before heading into Freddies for the main event. It’s here we come together beneath our iconic discoball, losing ourself in the magic, finding new best friends in the moment, and making memories (albeit hazy) that will last for life. Most revellers spend the night weaving their way through the garden, the terrace, the dancefloor, the plaza and back again, with a few pit-stops to bob for balls in the Bathtub Club – aka, the world’s tiniest discotheque – and join in a singalong with the Crazy Piano Man. As they (we!) say, there’s no party like a Pikes House Party!

We always encourage guests to keep plenty of fuel in the tank for Sundays at Pikes – our day-to-night affair that wraps up the weekend the very best way we know how – this season, for 29 whopping weeks (from April 13 to October 26). It all starts with a Bloody Mary – or a piña colada if you’re that way inclined – by the pool, where some of the best DJs on the island (and from around the world) spin the Balearic soundtrack to the afternoon. One minute you’re tapping your toes, mixing and mingling with friends, old and new, and the next, you’re chomping through crispy roast spuds, savouring succulent roast meats and soaking up gravy with your Yorkshire pud. That’s right friends… the Pikes Sunday Roast is back! Remember, tables for the roast book up well in advance so be sure to get your reservation requests in early.
While our team clear the tables, it’s time for you to give a knowing nod to our bar staff, who are only too happy to bring over that tray of espresso martinis you’ve been dreaming about all winter long. Suddenly – you’ve got your second (or is it your third?) wind, and before too long, the sun’s going down over the hills and that caffeine kick has got you swirling and twirling around Plaza Mayor like you haven’t got a care in the world, let alone work tomorrow (if you’re a local)! It’s an easy strut from here to Freddies, where our cutting-edge Sunday DJs (shh! The line-ups remain top secret) keep you on your toes beneath that mirrorball until Nick turns on the lights and you stumble out to greet the dawn… From day to night, from roast to rave, from gravy to grooves – on Sundays at Pikes, we’ve got all bases covered.

Here’s the part where we need to remind you all: it’s a marathon not a sprint, because Monday is this island’s favourite day to party! Since the days when a young Andy McKay – the man formerly known as Andy Manumission – was pioneering one of the most legendary Monday club events back in the 90s, it’s been a tradition for islanders, holidaymakers and discerning ravers from across the globe to embark on hedonistic adventures together. Not much has changed today (although our favourite venue is just little more intimate and our all-star DJs are perhaps a little more grey around the ears) and we plan to keep that tradition alive and well in 2025. After an amazing debut season last year, Andy Manumission & Pikes Ibiza present Mondays is back!
For a long string of Mondays, from April 21 to August 25, and again on September 29, October 06 and 13 (we’ll keep you guessing as to what’s in between) we’ll unite for another season of magical dancefloor moments with all DJ line-ups kept secret until the night (if you know, you know!). Embrace the freedom to be whoever you want to be – even if it’s just for one night – thanks to our No Phones Policy and the nametag you’ll receive on the door. Come together beneath the discoball, dance ‘til dawn with wild abandon, find kindred spirits in the deepest, darkest corners of Freddies and immerse yourself in the authentic Balearic spirit. Quite simply, we invite you to simply revel in being in the moment. To us, that’s what Mondays are all about.

And finally, we’re truly honoured to share the news that the high priest of house music is also returning to Freddies, filling our hump-day slot with house music masterclasses on alternate Wednesdays from April 23 until October 22 (check our calendar for full deets). What started as a guest slot in 2023 – as the legendary artist triumphantly returned to the place where he filmed the iconic Needin’ U video clip way back in the 1990s – turned into a residency in 2024, morphing into DIRIDIM presents David Morales in 2025.
DIRIDIM (say it out loud, slowly, and you’ll clock the slang pronunciation: ‘the rhythm’ – get it?) is Morales’ own genre-crossing record label, launched to support new artists as well as releasing his own productions and collabs. It’s all about the music, be it soulful, afro, tribal, techno, tech or disco, which makes us oh-so-excited to see what he brings to the table (or more appropriately, the Freddies decks) this summer. There’s no one quite like the house music don, who’s been a major figure in the dance music scene since the 1980s – winning a Grammy, and remixing everyone from Aretha Franklin and Britney Spears to Daft Punk, CeCe Peniston, Jamiroquai and Madonna along the way – and is renowned for bringing magic to dancefloors wherever he lands across the globe. With our shared and storied Ibiza history, we’re proud that Pikes continues to play a part in Morales’ journey to this day.
Ohhh what a fun summer we’re going to have together! And this, well, this is just the start of it all. Stay tuned for our next round of announcements and we’ll see you under the mirrorball.
