Now in its 11th year, Freddie Rocks is a fundraiser in aid of the Mercury Phoenix Trust – a charity organisation founded by Queen members Brian May and Roger Taylor alongside manager Jim Beach in Freddie’s memory.
MPT raises money to help eradicate HIV/AIDS – the virus Freddie died of in 1991. Since then, the Trust has given more than 15 million dollars to over 700 projects in 57 countries, ranging from large NGOS to tiny grassroots organisations. They believe every little bit counts – no project is too big or too small, and knowledge is the way forward to win the fight. We’re proud to do our bit to support them.
A compulsory card donation of €10 per person will be collected on the door. We cannot accept cash.
