It’s our smallest room, but it also happens to be our sexiest and one of the most in-demand. A risqué mirror inlaid into the ceiling (all the better to see yourself in!) looks down on one of our favourite photos of Freddie Mercury by Steve Emberton. A neon ‘Lust’ sign by the late artist Chris Bracey sits above the boudoir-style silver bed and is juxtaposed with rustic leather sofas and kaleidoscopic tiles. Room 10 PIKES ROOM (COURTYARD)

Filled with character, loaded with charm and designed to be comfy, no two Pikes Rooms are ever alike. Room 10 is in the very heart of Pikes, sitting between the individual entrances to Pamelas and The Sunset Terrace. It can get a little noisy during events, but it’s perfect for those who love to be the life of the party. The charming flower-covered entrance leads into a small sitting room with quirky design details, and into a chic bedroom and recently refurbished modern bathroom with high-end amenities. All the more reason to sleep with us…

Room 11 JUNIOR SUITE

Laden with quirky touches and extra space, our Junior Suites are filled with authentic Pikes character and charm. Room 11 is in the very heart of Pikes, accessed via the cobbled staircase within Pamelas and with a private terrace that overlooks the Sunset Terrace. It can get a little noisy during events, but it’s perfect for those who love to be the life of the party, and those who like to make an entrance! This is the room where Koo Stark hid from paparazzi during the height of her Prince Andrew scandal, and sassy and saucy artworks featuring iconic Manumission imagery by Victor Spinelli line the walls in juxtaposition with the traditional Spanish wooden bed and antique décor. Featuring a sitting room with leather sofas, a spacious bedroom and vintage-tiled bathroom, it’s brimming with authentic home away from home vibes.

Room 12 PIKES ROOM (COURTYARD)

Filled with character, loaded with charm and designed to be comfy, no two Pikes Rooms are ever alike. Blink and you could easily miss the subtle entrance to Room 12, situated in the very heart of Pamelas and near the back terrace of Freddies. It can get a little noisy during events, but it’s perfect for those who love to be the life of the party, and those who like to make an entrance! Step inside the double wooden doors and you’ll find a room that sings with Spanish charm, with a wrought iron bed, eclectic tiled walls and art, white-washed Sabina beam ceilings and a retro-chic bathroom. All the more reason to sleep with us…

Room 14 PIKES ROOM (COURTYARD)

Filled with character, loaded with charm and designed to be comfy, no two Pikes Rooms are ever alike. Room 14 is deep in the heart of Pikes, tucked into a corridor at the top of a charming little staircase behind Freddies. It can get a little noisy during events, but it’s perfect for those who love to be the life of the party. We like to think as Room 14 as a room for voyeurs – the main door even has its very own peephole (don’t worry, it can be closed when you do want privacy). The finca-style bathroom also boasts a peek-a-boo door feature and Victor Spinelli’s Manumission artwork on the wall is the perfect fit! All the more reason to sleep with us…

Room 15 PIKES ROOM (COURTYARD)

Filled with character, loaded with charm and designed to be comfy, no two Pikes Rooms are ever alike. Room 15 is deep in the heart of Pikes, tucked into a corridor at the top of a charming little staircase behind Freddies with a sunny courtyard adjacent to our Pamelas roof terrace. It can get a little noisy during events, but it’s perfect for those who love to be the life of the party. When you step inside this room, you can still feel the authentic finca vibes of the early days of Pikes, thanks to Sabina beam ceilings, rustic wooden doors, vintage light fittings and lovely Spanish tiling but the real showstopper in here is the risqué bath and shower room. Hewn by Tony Pike’s very own hands, the misshapen arched doorways, peek-a-boo windows and carefully positioned mirrors are a voyeur’s dream – all the more reason to sleep with us…

Room 16 PIKES ROOM (COURTYARD)

Filled with character, loaded with charm and designed to be comfy, no two Pikes Rooms are ever alike. Room 16 is deep in the heart of Pikes, found at the top of a charming little staircase behind Freddies and accessed via the bougainvillea-draped private balcony that overlooks the candy-pink Pamelas courtyard, so it can get a little bit noisy during events. When the hotel first opened, Room 16 was actually numbered 2 as it was the second room ever built at Pikes – look closely and you can still see the small outline of the original number on the door frame. This little space holds so much of the hotel’s heritage within its white walls – it was also featured in the Club Tropicana scene where our flight captain George Michael is shaving in preparation to return to ‘real life’. All the more reason to sleep with us…

Room 17 junior suite

Laden with quirky touches and extra space, our Junior Suites are filled with authentic Pikes character and charm. Room 17 is deep in the heart of Pikes, found at the top of a charming little staircase behind Freddies and accessed via the bougainvillea-draped private balcony that overlooks the candy-pink Pamelas courtyard, so it can get a little bit noisy during events. When the hotel first opened, Room 17 was actually numbered 1 as it was the very first room ever built at Pikes – look closely and you can still see the small outline of the original number on the door frame. With a spacious sitting room, plush red velvet sofas, a dramatic chandelier and iconic Manumission artwork by Victor Spinelli lining the walls, there’s an underlying element of naughtiness here – if only these walls could talk!

Room 18 junior suite

Laden with quirky touches and extra space, our Junior Suites are filled with authentic Pikes character and charm. Room 18 is deep in the heart of Pikes, found at the top of a charming little staircase behind Freddies and accessed via the bougainvillea-draped private balcony that overlooks the candy-pink Pamelas courtyard – be sure to duck as you step into the room, as the door frame is super tiny, a reflection of the ancient Ibicenco farmers who once dwelled within the finca. The entire suite is quite traditional, with vintage Spanish wooden furniture, dark Sabina wood beams, rustic wooden doors and details plus terracotta light fixtures, with the oversized deep-soak copper tub and rain shower adding an element of modernity. There’s a small sitting room with a tiny Juliet balcony that overlooks the Sunset Terrace, plus windows overlooking Pamelas so it can get a little noisy during events, but there’s an otherwise homey vibe throughout.

Room 19 junior suite

Laden with quirky touches and extra space, our Junior Suites are filled with authentic Pikes character and charm. Tony Pike declared Room 19 to be his favourite room within the entire hotel, having originally built it for himself to live in and enjoy the sweeping view. Ultimately, due to demand from guests, he converted it into a suite – which was how the hotel continued to grow! Accessed via the staircase behind our iconic swimming pool, Room 19 feels quite private considering it’s so close to the action and features a sitting room, traditional Spanish style bedroom and huge rustic wooden doors that open into a bespoke bathroom with a traditional tub plus a beautiful, tiled Moroccan-style arched shower nook. An authentic slice of Pikes heritage with true home away from home vibes.

Room 20 suite

Taking pride of place around the hotel grounds, each of our unique Suites was lovingly built for someone special to Tony Pike and Room 20 was created for Tony’s fifth wife, Douna – you can spot it from the pool, with the giant question mark in a cage painted on the exterior, which was originally – much to Tony’s chagrin – a standout shade of lilac. Today, its yellow walls match the rest of the finca, while the interior is an eclectic mix of 80s chic and rock and roll style. There’s a sitting room – presided over by the iconic Sid and Nancy photos by Steve Emberton – in which to lounge, along with a lovely sun-drenched terrace with views across the campo. This room is the location of our famous arched bathroom window-with-a-view, overlooking the rolling countryside behind the hotel. Oh, if those walls could talk…

Room 21 suite

Taking pride of place around the hotel grounds, each of our unique Suites was lovingly built for someone special to Tony Pike. Room 21 features some of the most unique design elements in the hotel, with an atrium inside and an elevated bedroom alcove above the sitting room. The double French doors open onto a quaint balcony overlooking our iconic pool – the perfect place to congregate, by day and by night. Our favourite photo of Freddie Mercury live on stage, by Steve Emberton, dominates the space as it’s reflected in multiple strategically placed mirrors across the walls – if only they could talk!

Room 22 LA RESIDENCIA

Set over two floors and boasting a sun-soaked private terrace, the expansive La Residencia is the ultimate dwelling for sharing. Ascend the steep set of stairs tucked away behind our open-air pool shower – as seen in George Michael’s steamy shower scenes in the Club Tropicana film clip – and you’ll step inside our two-bedroom apartment style suite. A sunny kitchenette and dining room provide the ultimate space for entertaining new friends, and opposite the staircase is a shared bathroom with its own Jacuzzi, plus a spacious living room and a double bedroom. On the top floor, a second double bedroom suite with a living area leads onto the private sun terrace complete with sun loungers, for those days when you can’t quite make it down to the pool. Sleeping four guests in total, it’s the room that proves size really does matter.

Room 23 LA VIVIENDA

Discreetly tucked away from the action and designed for sharing, La Vivienda is a spacious, two-bedroom apartment-style sanctuary. Discreetly hidden away, down a garden pathway behind our open-air pool shower – as seen in George Michael’s steamy shower scenes in the Club Tropicana film clip – it’s tucked beneath an arched entranceway that conceals the lair of decadence within. A large kitchenette and dining area plus a shared bathroom are delineated with a huge open fireplace (that’s obviously not needed in summer!), leading onto a living area, a large twin bedroom, plus a Moroccan-influenced double bedroom with its bed built into a raised alcove, and an additional bathroom with a Jacuzzi. Sleeping up to four guests, it’s your own private hideaway within Pikes.

Room 24 junior suite

Laden with quirky touches and extra space, our Junior Suites are laden with authentic Pikes character and charm. Room 24 sits in absolute pride of place overlooking our iconic swimming pool, with its own terrace at the top of its stairs, from which you can survey the Pikes kingdom. Step inside and the interior is an eclectic mix of 80s chic and rock and roll style, with huge arched windows that overlook our hot pink tennis court (complete with a telescope, should you be voyeuristically inclined), and there’s even a desk should you (gasp!) need to work remotely during your stay. Away from the light-filled living area, the double bedroom is a quiet haven despite its proximity to the action. True home away from home vibes.

Room 25 suite

Taking pride of place around the hotel grounds, each of our unique Suites was lovingly built for someone special to Tony Pike and Room 25 is one of the spaces that was originally designed for year-round residencies, as evidenced by the huge fireplace at the heart of the living room. Take a left at at our smoking fish illustration by artist Rory Dobner to find the entrance and private shaded terrace area. Step inside and a kitchenette and dining room provide plenty of space for socialising with the iconic Sid and Nancy photographs by Steve Emberton silently judging you (or not!) the whole time. A sheer curtain separates the bedroom area, where an impressive Moroccan-style bedhead takes centre stage. You can only imagine the type of shenanigans that took place here in the 80s – if those walls could talk…

Room 26 suite

Taking pride of place around the hotel grounds, each of our unique Suites was lovingly built for someone special to Tony Pike. In the case of Room 26, it was for multiple ‘someones’ as the room was specifically designed to give a certain roguish paramour a front row view of the hotel’s entrance, so he knew exactly when his wife arrived home. Hmmm… if those walls could talk, indeed! Boasting our most iconic doorway, the enormous, wine barrel-like wooden entrance to Room 26 evokes the feeling of going down the rabbit hole – further enhanced by the whimsical Rory Dobner illustration of a rabbit-in-a-hat on the exterior. The intriguing interior doesn’t disappoint, with rustic wood and stone wall detailing contrasting with modern furnishings, a faux mounted zebra, a sunken shower room featuring a deep-soak copper tub and rain shower and more. The cute terrace right next to our reception clearly follows Tony’s cues – it’s the ideal place for people watching.

Room 27 – Tony’s Room Pikes Room

Filled with character, loaded with charm and designed to be comfy, no two Pikes Rooms are ever alike, and Room 27 is perhaps the most unique of them all. The ultra private, peaceful space – accessed via a pathway through the ornate wooden gates just off the pool – was Tony Pike’s permanent room within the hotel up until his passing in 2019. Afterwards, his little den of iniquity was transformed into the ultimate bachelor-style studio apartment – an homage the Pikes founder where you can live out your ‘What would Tony do?’ fantasies. Retro Scandinavian furnishings, Gucci-esque bamboo and leather sofas, vintage decor and animal print rugs evoke a 1970s Playboy Mansion vibe, alongside lightbox-framed portraits of Courtney Love by Diana Gomez and a Gina Lollobrigida-inspired oil painting. Add a dash of rock heritage, via an original 1980s Queen flight case (a gift from our dear pal Artwork), and you really get a taste for how Mr Pikes lived out his glory years.
