WHAT'S ON

Inside the Hotel

Dedicated to the pursuit of pleasure

As the world around us evolves, Pikes remains the whimsical wonderland that locals, bohemians and misfits have always known and loved. A hint of magic is always bubbling beneath the surface here and we encourage our guests and visitors to get lost in the pursuit of pleasure. Come down the rabbit hole with us…

The Pool

Let us take you to a place where membership’s a smiling face. Immortalised by a scantily clad George Michael and a sax-tooting Andrew Ridgeley in Wham!’s iconic video for Club Tropicana, our sparkling swimming pool has always been the heart and soul of Pikes.

Dip your toe in or dive into the deep end and swim up to the best seats in the house – submerged in the pool and conveniently in eye-line with the bar. Surrounded by oversized daybeds on multi levelled terraces, presided over by a giant red crocodile, and featuring shaded chill-out corners plus a DJ booth in poolside pride of place, we welcome you to wonderland…

Reception

There is a light that will never go out. Our Reception is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and our team are on-hand to assist with anything you need. This is where your Pikes journey begins – that spine-tingling moment of anticipation as you step through the Reception door for the first time is almost as good as the cool relief you feel in its blissfully air-conditioned surrounds.

Who can you spot in the photos on the wall? Can we arrange a late check-out? Book you a taxi? A massage? A personal training session? Ask and you shall receive. If you’re a hotel guest, dial ‘9’ from your room to contact the front desk, or pop in to see us any time you like. You’ll also find our shop here if you want to take home a Pikes- inspired souvenir (or three). Come on in, we don’t bite!

Tennis Court

Anyone for tennis? Or any other game that take your fancy on our famous hot pink court, for that matter? Singles, doubles, mixed doubles – even triples if it takes your fancy! All are welcome here. Hire rackets from reception and join the ranks of Freddie Mercury, who would proudly don his tennis whites back in the day, although legend has it that he was rubbish at the game itself. New balls please!

We can arrange private tennis lessons if your skills are anything like Freddie’s, or if you simply want to brush up on your game while you’re staying with us. We can also utilise the court for all types of festivities: open-air cinema, our literary festival, weddings, market stalls, personal training – if you can dream it up, we can make it happen. Game, set, match.

Bars & Restaurants

Open to one and all, our award-winning restaurant Pamelas (formerly known as Room 39) is the place to be for fabulous feasts, decadent dinners and Bacchanalian banquets beneath the stars, with head chef Lee Milne is at the helm. By day, it’s all about our Love Food Ibiza Brunch, curated by the terrifically talented Tess Prince. Whether you join us for brekkie, brunch, lunch or dinner, it’s all about beautiful locally sourced food with a rock and roll twist.

Whether you’re starting your day sipping drinks by our pool (it’s never too early!), selecting a special vino to go along with your meal at Pamelas, sampling the bespoke cocktails at the Curiosity Shop, being tempted by a tipple on our Sunset Terrace or staying (ahem!) hydrated in Freddies, there’s a bar to suit your every mood at Pikes. Our bartenders are always smiling, and the beer is always cold – we’re here to serve!

Gardens

The fairy tale gardens at Pikes set the scene for some of our guests’ best adventures. Take a stroll around the grounds and you’ll find chill-out corners aplenty, blossoming hibiscus flowers, swishing pampas grass, blooming bougainvillea, fragrant lavender and all kinds of succulents. Ancient olive trees sit alongside towering palms and eucalyptus trees, with pretty paved pathways leading you through to different areas of the hotel.

Keep your eye out for our flock of sheep, take in our open-air art collection – a whimsical series of illustrations by artist Rory Dobner painted on the hotel walls and incredible Diana Gomez portraits in striking lightboxes – and be sure to be nice to our family of felines along the way. You never know who you’ll bump into down the garden path at Pikes.

Freddies

It’s a kind of magic. The little club space with a whole lot of character, Freddies is named in honour of the room’s most famous former guest. What was once a luxury hotel suite has been transformed into an intimate party venue and our roll call of DJs reads like a desert island wish list for discerning music lovers. You’ll rub shoulders with billionaires and bus drivers on its famous dance floor or by the buzzing bars – we’re all equal under the Freddies dazzling disco ball.

Rockovery

RELAX, UNWIND, FORGET REAL LIFE, TREAT YOUR MIND & BODY

Pikes may be famous all around the world for its party atmosphere but we’re also aware that you’re on holiday to relax and pamper yourself. That’s why we’re pioneering our Rockovery services.

Maybe you’ve had a heavy night, need a bit of a hand dealing with the morning after, or maybe you just want to carry on your usual yoga routines – our concierge service are able to organise pretty much anything you like.

You can also book some tennis coaching, personal training, numerology, healing therapies, a selection of massage styles, pilates, yoga or energise your body’s natural healing and detoxification systems.
